2 Night Stay in a Meadow Yurt
Nestled in the wild flower meadow at Swinton Bivouac is our small group of Meadow Yurts and Cabin Yurts. Each has a stunning view across the Swinton Estate and wider Yorkshire Dales, with unlimited blue sky and back to nature vibe.
Our Meadow Yurts are Mongolian-inspired dwellings with a single room sleeping up to four guests complete with wood-fired log burning stove, its own loo and shower, outdoor seating with stunning views across the valley.
Cabin Yurts are yurts enjoying all the above facilities, but also afford an attached ‘bedroom cabin’, providing a little extra privacy and cosiness.
The Meadow Yurt field is a short walk from the Bivouac Café, individual shower facilities, barbeque areas, fully stocked communal ‘camp’ kitchen, Resident’s Lounge (perfect when you need to throw yourself into a deep sofa with a cup of tea, while you browse all the local information!), and communal, wood-fired hot tub.
Meadow Yurts sleep up to four people (one double and two singles); Cabin Yurts sleep up to four people – two in the yurt and two in the cabin. Each yurt has sumptuous bed linens and Swinton Estate robes and towels, private loo, and private shower facilities just a short stroll away. The fully stocked, communal camping kitchen is situated in the Yurt field and we’ll also keep you stocked up with seasoned logs.
Our Meadow Yurts and Cabin Yurts are electricity-free, so do remember your torch!
