Swinton Walled Garden - Summer Open Day (Full day)
Discover the four-acre Walled Garden on the Swinton Estate in full summer flourish, where long days and rich planting bring one of the UK’s largest hotel kitchen gardens into its peak season for our Summer Open Day.
Begin with a guided tour led by Grounds & Gardens Manager Joe Lofthouse MHort (RHS) MCIHort, exploring the garden’s history, seasonal rhythms, and its role in our Estate to Plate ethos. Then enjoy a relaxed floral workshop with local florist Anne Harrison, local florist.
Your day continues with a two-course lunch in Samuel’s Restaurant, showcasing produce grown, reared, and foraged on the Swinton Estate, alongside carefully selected local ingredients.
You are welcome to spend time either side of your visit exploring 200 acres of heritage parkland and gardens on the Swinton Estate, taking in the landscape at its summer best.
