Whether you are an experienced deer manager or recreational stalker, this practical day offers the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in responsible deer management and best practice. Led by experienced instructors, the day combines expert guidance, practical demonstrations, and simulated stalking, covering field craft, marksmanship, safety, carcass assessment, and venison preparation.
Based at the Deer House within the 90-acre Deer Park at Swinton Park Hotel in Yorkshire, the day includes a best practice presentation, practical demonstrations using fallow deer from the Deer Park, and a live-firing simulated stalk focusing on field craft, identification, safety, and marksmanship.
You will also have the opportunity to learn about skinning and butchery, with lunch and refreshments provided throughout the day.
